三歲左右的孩子早已會一句一句地說話。
思展方程式配合孩子的心智發展，從第一課的單字開始、第三課就學習短句、第七課孩子已經開始完整地讀句子了。
在啟蒙級的課程中，孩子學習了與生活最息息相關的100個字。他們認識了
無論是哪個科目的學習，我們都會關心到學生是否真正掌握了知識，一旦離開了課本，他們能將知識適當地應用自如嗎？
教導孩子認讀也不例外，我們最終希望的是孩子能在課本以外的場合廣泛認讀，不但能從而汲取知識，更能進一步學到更多的詞彙和應用。
這些閱讀練習的作用正是這樣。練習紙中的5個句子，簡單但完整，使用的全部是孩子從啟蒙級學到的漢字，只是句子不一樣了。透過這樣的閱讀練習，孩子學習到生字的新搭配，接觸更多表達方式；重覆多讀，孩子就能增強記憶，培養語感，學以致用。
