烏鴉 The crow

在西歐童話中，烏鴉往往被看成是壞人一派，名聲不好。但在中國傳統中，烏鴉是孝順的典範，被喻為「慈烏」呢。唐代詩人白居易就寫有《慈烏夜啼》的詩：
慈烏失其母，啞啞吐哀音；晝夜不飛去，經年守故林。
夜夜夜半啼，聞者為沾襟；聲中如告訴，未盡反哺心。
《本草綱目》亦有記載：小烏鴉長大以后，老烏鴉不能飛了，不能自己找食物了，小烏鴉會反過來找食物喂養它的母親。
